Due to the recent violence and shootings in and around Altadena, ACONA is hosting a discussion moderated by Captain Marjory Jacobs of the Altadena Sheriff's Station. The panel will feature:

• Paul Livingstone, Soul Force Project

• Dominick Correy, District Representative (Senator Anthony J. Portantino's Office)
  He deals with gangs and personally knows the recent gang members that were killed. He is the dean of students at "Learning Works" that gets gang members and other kids back in the school system.

• Brian Biery, Flintridge Center
  Currently working with the PUSD to augment schools enabling students to make better long-term decisions.

• Nina Ehlig, SENCH
  SENCH is a neighborhood association in Altadena with 160 homes associated
